Invisible Character for Instagram
Published · Updated · By InvisibleChar
A blank Instagram bio or empty-looking name needs characters Instagram will actually keep. Spaces alone get trimmed, and zero-width symbols are often removed when you tap Save. This tool copies invisible characters that hold up in bios, display names, and comments.
Braille Pattern Blank (U+2800) is preselected because it usually survives Instagram's sanitizer. Hangul Filler (U+3164) is a solid backup when Braille gets rejected. Copy, paste into the bio or name field, save, then reopen your profile to confirm it stuck.

How to set a blank Instagram bio
Copy Braille Pattern Blank with length 1 or 10. Open Instagram → Edit profile → Bio, clear the old text, paste, and save. If Instagram shows an error or restores your previous bio, switch to Hangul Filler and try a shorter string.
The preview box on this page has a visible border so you can trust the clipboard contents even though you see nothing. Paste into the test box here first if you want proof before editing your profile.
Invisible Instagram name and comments
Display names accept invisible characters on many accounts, but Instagram may still enforce letter requirements depending on region and app version. Start with one Braille Blank between letters, or a short blank name if the field allows it.
For comments, invisible text can post a blank-looking reply under a Reel or photo. Keep comments short. Long strings of zero-width characters are more likely to be stripped or flagged.
Why Instagram removes some invisible characters
Instagram cleans profile fields to stop empty spam accounts. Zero Width Space (U+200B) is the first to go. Braille Blank and Hangul Filler look empty to users but still count as “content” to the app, which is why they work better for a blank Instagram bio.
If nothing sticks after two methods, update the Instagram app and retry. You can also compare results with our WhatsApp blank message guide or the TikTok username page when you need platform-specific defaults.
